The Karen Feroli Community Champion Award - Call for Nominations

The Partnership welcomes nominations for the Karen Feroli Community Champion Award. This award recognizes an individual who is outstanding in actions to improve health and quality of life in the Carroll community. The Award is named in honor of the late Karen Kappes Feroli, R.N., Executive Director of Carroll Home Care and Carroll Hospice and member of the Partnership Board of Directors. Karen’s spirit of caring and her life of service continue to encourage and inspire others working to improve health and quality of life this community. The first Karen Feroli Community Champion Award was given in 2011.

Nominees and the award recipient will be acknowledged at We’re On Our Way, The Partnership’s annual community forum, held each May. Nominations must be submitted by March 15 to be considered for an award presented at this year’s event.

Supporting materials such as videos, letters or newspaper articles are encouraged; however, items submitted in physical form cannot be returned. Nominations will be reviewed by the designated Awards Committee consisting of staff and Board members. The Committee’s recommendation must be approved by the Board of Directors of The Partnership.

Criteria for nominations are found in the nomination forms. Please keep in mind that Partnership staff and Partnership Board of Directors are not eligible for this award. If you have any questions, please contact Dorothy Fox, Director of Community Health Improvement, at 410-871-6373 or DLFox@CarrollHospitalCenter.org.
