What YOU Can Do!

This section contains many resources to help YOU be a champion for smoke-free living.

1. YOU can join local community efforts to end exposure to tobacco!
Register your name on our website if you haven’t already.  The SFCC Coalition section of this web site has information about the Coalition itself.  While The Coalition is not an active entity, your help is still needed to promote smoke-free living in our community.

2. YOU can write “Letters to the Editor.”
This is an effective forum for reaching many of your friends and neighbors to promote smoke-free living. Include your full name, address and contact information with day, evening and cell phone numbers (make it easy for them to find you). Keep your letter brief. Include a specific realistic and productive suggestion or request of the readers or editors. Also, try to adhere to the message that second-hand smoke is a major health risk to non-smokers, who are the majority in Carroll County.
