The 5th Edition of the popular Healthy Dining Guide of Carroll County completed in 2015 lists 21 local restaurants that meet at least 80% of specific “healthy dining” criteria. Operation Save-A-Life

Operation Save a Life, provided by the Bureau of Prevention, Wellness, and Recovery at the Carroll County Health Department, trains first responders or anyone with a friend, family member, or loved one  at risk for overdosing on heroin or prescription pain medication.  Participants learn to 1) call 9-1-1 and 2) administer the life-saving drug Naloxone to prevent an opioid overdose death. read more
