facebook_buttonWalk Carroll Aug 2015Walk Carroll  is a long-term walking and exercise program that provides regular, accessible physical activity opportunities for anyone who lives, works, or plays in Carroll County. Track your physical activity and try to reach the CDC-recommended goal of 150 minutes each week!  With Walk Carroll, you can enjoy free group walking events all over Carroll County. Join us for fun walks, health information, cool giveaways, raffles, healthy snacks, activities for children, and more.

Walking Clubs

 Local Walk Carroll walking clubs are forming!  Join one or start a new group in your area for regular walks with neighbors and friends. Clubs are now active in:

  • New Windsor  

“Walk with the Mayor,” Every other Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.

Meet at the Town Hall, 211 High St.

    1. Even Saturday dates, 8:00 a.m., at Carrolltowne Elementary school, Eldersburg
    2. Every Sunday, 8:30 a.m., at TriSport Junction, 7568 Main St., Sykesville
    3. Every Thursday, 6:30 p.m., at TriSport Junction, 7568 Main St., Sykesville

*  Sykesville walks range from 1 – 3 miles.

Please confirm the exact times and locations of walks with the club coordinator or with Partnership Staff, as these may vary. Local club information and sign-up sheets can also be found at most CCPL library branches. There is no fee to join a walking club. If there is no walking club in your area, call or email to find out about starting your own!
